Polish player throws 9 dart!

During the two-day dart tournament PDC in Challenge Tour in Wigan, England, our representative Krzysztof Ratajski finishes his 9th dart!

How do you throw a 9th dart?

The 9th dart is nothing but a perfect leg and is a quiet dream of many darts :) This leg has many variants of the solution, the most popular are 180, 180, and finishing with 3 darts checkout 141. Boom counter zeroed :) Krzysztof throws 9th dart during a serious tournament for the first time in his career. We hope not the last. As part of curiosities, the organizers pay considerable financial prizes for the perfect match during the World Championships or other great dart tournaments.

Krzysztof Ratajski also won the second Saturday tournament collecting 2,000 pounds. During the weekend he played 4 tournaments for a total of 2,500 pounds. Financing in a dart is not only cash, but the ranking itself is based on the number of pounds accumulated on the account, so such an injection is not only a relief for the wallet but more importantly for a virtual table, which later translates into gaining a place in television tournaments.

The 9th dart itself does not appear so often on TV screens. Fans have the opportunity to admire the perfect leg on average once or twice a year. In the current season, this feat has so far gone only to the account of Gary Anderson, who scored 180, 180, and c / o 141 (T20 + T19 + D12) in the World Matchplay quarter-finals against Joe Cullen.

But a year ago we could watch such an event twice. First, Adrian Lewis did such a feat in the Premier League, and at the end of the perfect year, Kyle Anderson played in the semi-finals of the European Championship when he faced Michael van Gerwen.
Although Krzysztof did not pass the 9th dart before the big audience, it is still a feat, which is a special moment for all darts. The more we congratulate you again and wish you more such legs, next time at one of the "Major" in the fight for the biggest trophies.
