Twitter premieres tweets with voice by surprise, so you can send them

Twitter has opened Pandora's Box: it has released the tweets with voice. You can now record yourself in audio and send it through a tweet. Did Twitter need something like this?

Twitter has been adding interesting new functions to the popular social network for a few weeks, although the one it has released today is the one that will raise the most controversy. Tweets arrive with a voice, and as we have seen in the first reactions, not everyone is liking it.

At the moment they are only available in the iOS app, through an update that you can already download. But we assume that they will not take long to reach Android.

In this GIF that the social network itself has published in its official account, you can see how they work. Sending a tweet with voice is as simple as recording the audio and sending it, similar to how we do it on WhatsApp and the like.

As we can see, from now on when we write a tweet, a new sound wave button will appear on the Twitter interface. By touching it, we will access the function to record the voice.

We tap the record button, talk, and tap again to stop recording. It will automatically be added to the tweet to send as a standard message.

From what you can see in the GIF, the audio will not play automatically, as is logical. You will have to tap on the thumbnail to hear it.

The idea has not been liked by everyone, who criticizes that the social network loses its status as text chat, but it is not very different from sending a video, which has been available for a long time. On the other hand, many users are asking that they also include this option in private direct messages.

In recent weeks, Twitter has released important new features. For example, the option to schedule the publication of tweets or a button to limit who can reply to you.

We will see the success of these new tweets with voice ...

This is 3D Build & Play, the new 3D printing pen for children

3D Build & Play is the new 3D printing pen for kids from 3Doodler with which the little ones can unleash their creativity and create their own designs.

Back in 2013, a curious invention surprised fans of 3D printing: it was 3Doodler, a pen that allowed you to create three-dimensional designs by drawing in the air. To do this, the device extruded a hot plastic material through the tip, and the user could shape and model it to create small sculptures.

Now, 3Doodler has released a new device specially designed for younger children. It's called  3D Build & Play and it allows preschoolers to start experimenting with 3D printing, developing their creativity, and training their fine motor skills.

3D Build & Play is a 3D printing pen adapted for use by children from four years of age in a completely safe way. Unlike the original model, the preschool version is wireless to make it easier to use.

The material used by the device is brightly colored plastic that contains no toxic ingredients or BPA. The plastic comes out when the child turns the crank of the pen and its temperature is not too high to avoid burning the fingers.

Kids can use the device to create their own designs from scratch, but 3D Build & Play also includes different molds and fun backgrounds that help them bring their creations to life.

At the moment, 3D Build & Play is only for sale in the United States at a price of $ 29.99, but it is possible that it may be purchased through Amazon soon like the other 3Doodler models.

If this device catches your eye, the 3Doodler Adult 3D Printing Pen is for sale on Amazon. There is a model for children called 3Doodler Start, aimed at children older than 3D Build & Play. In addition, there are also for sale other pens from other cheaper brands from about 26 euros.

The novelty of Windows 10 that is irritating many users

With the latest Windows 10 update, users have been met with a surprise. A function has disappeared and is no longer available.

Microsoft releases two new updates each year packed with new features for Windows computers. The first in 2020 came in May, but it hid a surprise that not all users liked. In addition to including new features, Windows has the disposal of one of its most classic functions.

It is possible that you did not know Windows Fresh Start, many users do not get to use it in their entire lives, but it is a very important function of this operating system. As its name suggests, it is a clean boost, a quick method to clean the inside of the computer, but it has disappeared with the last update.

It has been in Windows since 2017 and allows (allowed, better said) to format and reinstall the operating system in a simple and fast way. It cleaned the entire computer from the installed applications, both those that we have installed and those that came pre-installed, leaving the user's data and files, that is, it did not affect the contents of the hard drive.

As indicated in HTNovo, the May 2020 update of Windows 10 2004 does not contain this cleaning function. It is, but it doesn't work. You can find Fresh Start in the settings, but when you try to access it, it sends you to an informative website and thus in an infinite loop in which there is no option to activate this cleaning system.

At the moment the reasons for this change are not known. Some media point out that, by deleting applications from computer manufacturers, they would have complained and Microsoft would have backed down with this function. For many people who work testing beta applications or beta versions, this is a good way to restore your computer as it was in the beginning without losing user data and other important files.

The truth is that from HTNovo, they suggest another application that could inherit the capabilities of Fresh Start to confirm that it has come to an end. The 2004 version of Windows 10 introduces cloud recovery that restores the device and reinstalls Windows 10 updated to the latest released public version, removing all applications and programs not included in Windows and providing the ability to keep personal files or not and clean or not the units.

In the end, the function similar to that offered by Fresh Start, but from Cloud Recovery and with certain variations. The main difference is that Cloud Recovery does not remove Bloatware, that is, the applications pre-installed by the PC manufacturer, something that those who used Fresh Start regularly may miss.

This microscope works with a Raspberry Pi and Python code

What can not be done with a Raspberry Pi? The microscope they have created is a sample of how the imagination can be unleashed with this single-board computer.

We do not stop talking about the Raspberry Pi because inventions continue to develop using it as a base. This microscope that has been created is an example and part of a combination that seemed impossible: the Raspberry Pi, Python code, Lego pieces, and some others printed in 3D. In short, someone has had a lot of fun.

The Raspberry Pi is a small motherboard that incorporates an SoC, RAM, expansion ports, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Although it has its operating system, you can install a foreign one and prepare custom programs to use it with different functions, from being the base of a robot to receiving DTT through it, configuring it as a tablet or creating this MicroscoPy, as they have called.

The base of this microscope is a 26 x 26 cm piece of Lego on which different pieces of the brand and other electronic ones have been installed. As usual in this class of projects, removing the Raspberry Pi, everything else is assembled individually.

When it came to shaping, they had to choose some parts made using a 3D printer to fit the different technologies into the Lego parts base that works as a resistant structure that adapts to the required needs. As for the programming to send the images to the screen, it has been done using Python code.

The best thing about this project is that it is part of the community of Raspberry Pi fans that exist online. The Reddit forum where it was created is a good example, where the ideas carried out by programmers and electronic fans are shared. Not only are papers published, but they help overcome barriers and propose improvements.

Also, detailed manuals are created, such as Microscopy, for those who are encouraged to carry it out, although it is best to start with simpler projects. We recommend that you read this report with 15 uses of the Raspberry Pi that you did not know you could give it, it is a good place to start. But the most important thing is that you lose your fear.

Google Chrome will stop eating the RAM of your Windows computer after this new function

Microsoft has found a way to reduce the consumption of RAM made by programs like Google Chrome. Google's browser will implement this in future updates.

Google's browser is famous for taking up too much space in RAM. On the internet, there are even jokes about this negative quality. Although Google makes efforts every year to reduce the excess weight of Google Chrome, Microsoft has taken the initiative and searched for a possible solution on its Windows computers.

The Windows 10 May 2020 update includes a novelty designed to protect your RAM from programs like Google Chrome. According to a report from  Windows Latest, this change introduces improvements in Windows storage memory, with it it will reduce the general use of memory by Win32 applications such as Google Chrome.

Microsoft has confirmed that it uses this new system in its Chromium-based Edge browser, which will launch worldwide in the coming months, and the first tests show a reduction in memory consumption of up to 27% in the Windows update. May 10, 2020.

The company has explained that this novelty corresponds to a new feature called " SegmentHeap ", intended for developers. Google has also liked this initiative and will also adopt it in its browser.

The developers who have already tested "SegmentHeap" say that its use could save hundreds of MBs of RAM usage, which translates into a considerable increase in computer performance.

However, we will have to wait a while for Chrome users from Windows to see first-hand the benefits of this novelty. It is now up to the developers to include it in their programs and to launch new updates that will arrive in the coming months.

While these updates arrive, we can resort to other tricks to get Google Chrome to consume less RAM on our computer and thus slow down the performance of our computer.
